Archive content
Archiving takes content off the Content views and out of the pickers without deleting it or its versions. Use it for pieces that have had their day, such as a benefits guide for a plan year that has ended.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- No active step still links to the content, or you have replaced the link. Archiving does not edit the steps that point at it.
-
In Pyn, open Library in the left navigation and select the content to open the editor.
-
On the right-hand rail select Details.
-
At the foot of the drawer select Archive. The button changes to Unarchive.
-
Select Back to return to the Content view. The content is no longer listed.
What you should see
Section titled “What you should see”The content is gone from Everything and from the Link to Library Content picker in the message editor. Its versions are kept, so unarchiving returns it exactly as it was.
Related
Section titled “Related”- Find content to locate the piece you want to archive.
- Publish content if you only want to change what it says.
