Pause a scheduled message

One message in a sequence is wrong for one person: the date moved, or the content needs a word changed before it goes. Pausing the step holds it as a Draft without touching the rest of the enrollment.

  1. In Pyn, open Activity in the left navigation, then select All Messages under Messages.

  2. Select Filters, then Status, and tick Scheduled.

  3. Select the row of the step to hold. It opens on its own page with Scheduled in the header.

  4. Select Pause at the top right. The status changes to Draft and the button now reads Schedule.

  5. When you are ready for it to send, open the step again and select Schedule. If its date has passed, it sends straight away.

In All Messages, the step reads Draft and has no date to send. In the enrollment’s panel it is listed with Draft too. Once scheduled again it reads Scheduled with its date, and the enrollment, if it was paused, moves to Pending.
