Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 gives Pyn Outlook senders, so an email comes from a named colleague through Microsoft Graph, and Outlook Calendar, so a flow can invite someone to a recurring event. Each is a per-account grant made by the person who owns the mailbox or calendar. The integration tile records the tenant and lists the connected senders.

  • Microsoft 365 is enabled for your workspace; the tile, Add Microsoft 365 Email Sender and Add Outlook Calendar appear only then.
  • You sign in to Microsoft yourself; an admin cannot connect someone else’s mailbox.
  • The account needs an Exchange Online mailbox. Pyn asks for User.Read and Mail.Send for a sender, User.Read and Calendars.ReadWrite for a calendar.

The Microsoft 365 tile under Available; selecting it starts the Microsoft sign-in.
  1. In Pyn, open Settings in the left navigation, then Available under Integrations.

  2. Select the Microsoft 365 tile. Microsoft opens; sign in and accept the permissions. This connects your account as a sender and installs the integration.

  3. Microsoft returns you to Pyn. The tile moves to Installed as Active and your sender appears under Settings > General > Senders.

  4. For more senders, each person uses Senders > Add > Add Microsoft 365 Email Sender. See Add a Google or Microsoft 365 sender.

  5. For a calendar, use Calendars > Add > Add Outlook Calendar and pick the calendar to sync. See Connect a calendar.

  • Senders: name, email and tenant, read when the account connects.
  • Calendars: recurring events from the selected calendar, refreshed every five minutes while the integration is active, with Refresh Events to pull changes now.
  • Deliveries: each email and invite is a delivery in Activity. A transient Graph error is retried; the delivery records how many times sending was deferred.

The panel’s Details tab shows the Tenant; its Senders tab lists every connected Microsoft 365 sender.

Open a Microsoft 365 sender under Senders, open its … menu and select Send Test; “Test Message Sent” confirms it. For a calendar, open it under Calendars and check its events list once “Pyn is syncing this calendar. This can take a few minutes.” clears.

  • A sender or calendar showing Requires reauth carries a Reconnect button; the account owner signs in again.
  • Deactivate on the tile stops every Microsoft 365 sender and calendar; Activate restores them.
