The People team wants to hear from you: how your first month went, whether you have everything you need, a quick pulse on the week. A form has several questions and a **Submit** button. A poll has one or two questions and records each answer the moment you select it.

## Steps

**Slack**

1. Open the direct message or channel post. The questions are laid out inside the message.

2. Answer each one: tick a checkbox, pick one of **Very Dissatisfied**, **Dissatisfied**, **Neutral**, **Satisfied** or **Very Satisfied**, type into a text box, or pick a colleague from a people list.

3. Select **Submit** at the bottom of the message. For a poll, selecting an answer submits it straight away.

4. Slack keeps the message; the answers are sent to Pyn.

**Email**

1. Select the button in the email. The respond page opens in your browser, with the form's title at the top. No sign-in is needed.

2. Answer each question. A required question that you leave blank is marked **This field is required.** when you submit, and the page waits for you to fill it in.

3. Select **Submit**. For a poll, select the answer that fits; each answer is recorded as soon as you select it.

4. The page replaces the questions with **Submitted** and **Your response has been recorded.**

> **Note:** If you open the link again after submitting, the page shows **Submitted** rather than the questions. If the page says **Something went wrong** and that the link may have expired or is invalid, the message it came from was withdrawn; ask your People team.

## What you should see

**Submitted** on the respond page, or the Slack message accepting your answers. The People team sees your delivery move to **Actioned** and can read your answers against your record. Any reminders attached to the message stop.
