Your company wants you at a recurring onboarding session, a benefits briefing or a manager training. Rather than sending you the details to book yourself, Pyn adds you as a guest to the event the organiser already has in their calendar.

## Steps

1. Look for the invitation in your calendar application. It comes from Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook under the organiser's name, in the same way as any other invitation, because Pyn added you to their event.

2. Open it. The title, time, location and description are the organiser's; Pyn changes nothing about the event except the guest list.

3. Accept, decline or propose a new time using your calendar's own buttons. Your response goes to the organiser.

4. If the event repeats, the People team chose whether you were added to every occurrence or only to the next one after a date on your record, so you may see a single event rather than the whole series.

## What you should see

The event in your calendar with you listed as a guest. Pyn records that the invitation was sent; it does not track whether you accepted.
