A review cycle, an open enrolment window or a holiday calendar comes round every year with the same shape and new dates. Duplicating the campaign keeps the messages and spacing and moves everything to the new reference date.

## Before you start

- The campaign exists on **Activity**, **Campaigns**, in any state, including **Complete**.

## Steps

1. In Pyn, open **Activity** in the left navigation, then select **Campaigns**.

2. Use the calendar arrows to reach the period of the original campaign, then select it in the sidebar (or the pencil next to it) to open its panel.

3. Select the menu in the panel header, then **Duplicate**. The **Duplicate Campaign Enrollment** dialog opens with the **Title** set to the original's title followed by an asterisk.

4. Edit the **Title**, for example `Mid-year reviews 2027`, and set the new **Reference Date**.

5. Leave **Recalculate Step Dates** on (**Step dates will shift to match the new reference date**) so a step that was three days after the old date is three days after the new one. Turn it off to copy the dates as they are.

6. Set **Keep Recipients**: on copies the recipients of every step from the original; off (**No recipients will be copied**) leaves each step's **To** empty for you to fill.

7. Select **Duplicate**. The new campaign opens in the panel.

> **Note:** The copy is created paused with every step in **Draft**, whatever state the original was in, and nothing it sent is copied. Open each step, check the date and recipients, and set it to **Automated** when you are ready.

## What you should see

The new campaign appears on the calendar at its new reference date with the same colour and emoji, its steps spaced as before. A step can also be duplicated on its own: open it, select its menu, then **Duplicate**, and set the **Scheduled date** and **Keep Recipients** in the **Duplicate Step** dialog.
