You have a name, or part of one, and want the profile. Search in the left navigation reaches it from any page; the Employees list narrows with Find and Filters when you want several people at once.

## Steps

1. In Pyn, select **Search** at the top of the left navigation. A search field opens over the page.

2. Type part of the name or email. Matches appear as you type, including people, groups, automations, forms and journey moments; employees show their name, email and a **Joiner** or **Terminated** chip where that applies.

3. Select the person. **Directory** opens with their profile in the panel on the right.

## Narrow the list instead

1. Open **Directory** in the left navigation and choose **Active**, **Upcoming** or **Inactive** under **Employees**.

2. Select **Find** and type part of a name. The table narrows as you type; matching happens inside words, so "son" finds Johansson.

3. For a property, select **Filters** and pick one, for example **Department** or **Time Zone**, then tick the values you want.

4. Select a row to open the profile, or change the view-type menu from **Table** to **Gallery** for a card per person.

> **Tip:** A terminated employee is on **Inactive**, not **Active**; someone with a future start date is on **Upcoming**. Search finds them wherever they are.

## What you should see

The profile panel with the person's name, avatar and tabs; or a shorter table showing the people who match. The URL carries the panel, so you can share it with another admin.
